It's finally happened - the DWS Co. website is LIVE!
My name is Tobi Wray and I started dreaming up Design Well Spent Co. about a year and a half ago while I was working at my corporate job at Amazon. I've always wanted to start my own business, but never had the courage to take the leap...until now.
After 10 years of working as an in-house interior designer, I'm finally setting out on my own to work directly with retailers, entrepreneurs, brands, and (most recently) homeowners of all shapes and sizes to create innovative and scalable design concepts, customer experiences, and spaces people love.
Someone once told me I needed to choose either a management path or a design path for my career track, but I am good at both - and I insist on doing both. I found that the higher up the corporate ladder I climbed, the further away I moved from design. Running my own business is allowing me to stay close to the design, management, and client engagement. I like to get into the weeds and learn my client's business as well as they do. It's what has shaped and defined me as a designer, and it's what will continue to differentiate my company in the years to come.
